In the Lion of Judah we discover the power of Christ as eternal King and Lord. And in the standing Lamb we find the grace of Jesus Christ as our eternal Savior.
This flag consists of three layers
Standing Lamb
Victorious Lion
Fire
The sacrificial lamb-Jesus Christ-an innocent lamb, who took our place, atoning for our sin and ushering in a new covenant of eternal salvation for all who believe and call upon His Name. Behold! The Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world! Jesus didn’t just cover our sin-but He took it away and nailed it to the Cross!
The Victorious Lion-Christ Jesus is powerful and majestic as a lion. He is King of kings and Lord of lords. He is mighty in strength and fierce in love. Jesus Christ -as the lion-conquered sin and death so that we would share in the glory of His eternal Kingdom.
The Fire- The Fire of God represents many various attributes. First and foremost it represents Who God is. He is an all consuming fire! Secondly, the fire represents the holiness of God. The Holy Fire of God is what makes us holy. Thirdly, the fire symbolizes the trials of life that God says we will endure. It is when God takes us through the fire (trials of life) that we are purified, cleared and sanctified. The fire of God draws us more closer to God.
The attribute’s of this flag declares Who the Lion and the Lamb are. We declare Christ our King as the perfect sacrifice, the Passover Lamb, our Savior, Holy and victorious! Behold! The Lion of Judah has conquered! We declare Jesus Christ will return to establish the kingdom of God!
